These delicious Hotel Chocolat Chilli Sweethearts are made with cocoa grown on their plantation in Saint Lucia. Made with 70% dark chocolate, the chilli gives an extra kick with cocoa crispy pieces added in. Montalto Organic Cataratto Wine

Compassion Valentine Party
If you’re not sharing Valentine’s Day with someone special this year, there are meet-ups happening around the world. At Colchester Arts Centre, there is a vegan Valentine’s Party. The event is to raise money for the National Animal Welfare Trust and Sea Shepherd. Food and drinks on offer are all vegan-friendly, giving you the opportunity to make new friends in a relaxed atmosphere. Tickets are available to buy online or can be collected in Colchester.

Find Veg Love host speedating events across the United States and Canada or like-minded vegans to meet. With lots of events in cities all across North America, if you’re still looking to find the ‘one’ or to find some new friends who share your vegan passion, one of these might the event for you.
VeggieVision Dating was set up by Karin, with the aim to unite like-minded people. Chain restaurant Ask Italian are having a Valentine’s Day set menu with vegan options included, which is also available alongside their full menu. Vegan options include a spaghetti Bolognese and for dessert a blood orange chocolate tart, which here at Vegan Life HQ, we can confirm that it’s a delicious option to choose from. If none of these take your fancy, Ask Italian also has vegan cheese pizzas on their normal menu, and a number of other dishes.
At Turtle Bay this Valentine’s Day, you can order some delicious vegan options from their set menu. For £25 you can get four courses. For starters you can order the Trini Doubles, and for your main meal there is a spinach, aubergine and sweet potato curry available. Check with your server for vegan dessert options.
