Dr. Martens Add to Their Vegan ‘Leather’ Range

Iconic British brand Dr. Martens have expanded their vegan range with a spring summer collection, available to buy now. The new products are the vegan versions of their popular leather counterparts made by the brand, and are made without any animal products.

Items in the range include the 8-eye fastening classic style boot, brogues, Chelsea boots and 3-eye fastening shoes. As with all Dr. Martens shoes and boots, the vegan range still has the patented AirWair sole, for comfort and style.

They have added three vegan leather bags to the range, including one backpack and a satchel available in two different sizes. The bag comes in the traditional Oxblood shade with a two-tone finish, giving the illusion of vintage leather, whilst remaining vegan. It has two adjustable straps, and two handles, stud fastening and chrome hardware and a handy pocket on the front.

The satchels are available in 11-inch and 7-inch sizes, with chrome hardware and the vintage appearance from the two-toned finish seen on the backpack. Both the backpack and satchels have metal Dr. Martens branding on the front.

The shoes and boots were originally designed for policemen and postmen, but have been adopted and subverted by different groups of people since the company started production in 1960. Dr. Martens shoes are renowned for being a firm choice of footwear with youth cultures, musicians and diverse individuals for their durability and room for self-expression.
