A brand new vegan takeaway restaurant has launched in London across two locations in Kensington and Wandsworth.

BVRGER is the brainchild of three experienced entrepreneurs – Jeremy Ford-Young, Paul Brothers and Afzal Khan. As the name suggests, BVRGER (pronounced burger) will offer a 100% vegan menu to families and individuals living in South and West London.

It is reported that over 500,000 people have signed up for Veganuary 2021. As the UK population becomes increasingly focused on wellness and sustainability, both veganism and “flexitarianism” are on the rise. That said, it is evident the options for fresh, convenient and delicious vegan food are limited.

BVRGER aims to help satisfy this increased demand, preparing 100 per cent vegan and environmentally-friendly food using sustainable packaging.

Working with leading London based chefs, the company has curated a varied menu, including flame-grilled vegan burgers, a selection of tasty sides (including truffle fries, and vegan chicken bites) as well as hand spun milkshakes and soft-serve ice cream – all made to order.

Consumers have the choice to customise their burger with the option of brioche or charcoal buns, and can choose from a variety of add-ons. The burgers are packed with plant protein and are free of hormones, antibiotics & GMO ingredients. The team at BVRGER have developed their own in-house seasonings and sauces and will also offer junior meals.

No Compromise

Jeremy Ford-Young, co-founder, explains, “BVRGER has been created collaboratively by vegans and non-vegans, for both vegans and non-vegans alike.”

“Having struggled to find high quality, conscientious convenience food to feed our own families, we saw a need for a premium takeaway restaurant that could bring fresh, plant-based, convenience food to the masses without compromising on taste or quality.”

“Our burgers are designed to satisfy the meat cravings of the most hardened carnivores, passionate vegans, and everyone in between.”

Paul Brothers, co-founder, adds, “I consumed high levels of meat and dairy all my life until a year ago, when I started to pay more attention to how my body was reacting to those food groups.”

“I discovered that a flexible diet including more vegan meals gave me more energy, better recovery after training and I woke up feeling more refreshed. A flexitarian diet has changed my life and I have not looked back!”

Afzal Kahn, co-founder, also commented, “I have been a vegan for 20 years and I have tried and tested vegan food all over the world.  I have never tasted vegan convenience food that tastes as fresh and delicious as this.”
