Nando’s Vegan Flavour Boxes Created For Charity Sell Out In A Day
Popular chain restaurant Nando’s launches sell-out Vegan Flavour Boxes for charity
Nando’s Vegan Flavour Boxes were only released on 18th January, yet they sold out that very same day, after excited vegans rushed to get their hands on one of the limited-edition spice kits.
Intended to both flavour up Veganuary, and celebrate Nando’s much-loved Vegan PERinaise, the limited-edition boxes were created in partnership with online cooking platform, MOB Kitchen.
Nando’s boxes provide all of the ingredients, recipe and flair needed to create a delicious vegan PERi-PERi Falafel Pitta at home. The kit includes utensils as well as an authentic Nando’s apron to unleash your inner chef, all for just £5.
All money from sales of the Vegan Flavour Boxes went to City Harvest – the food-distribution charity which rescues more than 75 tonnes of surplus from the retail and hospitality industry each week, re-delivering to community programmes for people in need.
If you were unable to get a box before they sold out, Nando’s have also released their vegan PERi-PERi Falafel Pitta recipe – along with two additional, easy to create Nando’s-inspired recipes.
Joining the plant-based recipe line-up is a PERi-PERi Sweet Potato Salad and Smokey Roasted Pepper Croquettes, with all recipes incorporating Vegan PERinaise as the ultimate condiment to dip, drizzle or pour on your vegan meals this month and beyond.
