Just in time for World Vegan Month, the ice cream wizards at Ben & Jerry’s are launching an exclusive four-piece vegan menu at its Scoop Shop in Soho, London.
The new menu is crammed with cookies, brownies, and shakes full of chunks and swirls, but without the animal-products! The chefs have given a vegan twist to mouth-watering favourites such as the Cookie Sandwich and the Brownie Sundae, by using their recently launched Non-Dairy ice creams. All of the vegan baked goods used in the new menu are provided by the charitable Luminary Bakery, where baking supports disadvantaged women in London.
Ben & Jerry’s Scoop Shop guru, Zara Hall said: “Our flavour fans dared us to go dairy-less — and we did. Now, we’ve taken our Non-Dairy flavour creations and whipped them into menu items for our fans to dig into. We hope people love the magnificent vegan cookies, brownies, and ice cream chunks and swirls we’ve loaded into our delicious desserts just in time for World Vegan Month.”
The all-new Ben & Jerry’s Vegan menu features:
- Cookie Sandwich – sandwiching a chocolatey, chunky maple and chocolate chip vegan cookie, with your choice of Ben & Jerry’s Non-Dairy ice cream.
- Very Vegan Shake – made with fudgy vegan brownies, finished with a splash of almond milk, a generous layer of vegan whipped cream and chocolate sauce.
- Cookie Sundae – combining maple and chocolate chip vegan cookies with peanut butter and cookies ice cream, all topped with generous dollops of vegan chocolate sauce and whipped cream.
- Brownie Special Sundae – vegan chocolate and cherry brownies, Non-Dairy Chocolate Fudge Brownie and Chunky Monkey ice cream, topped with vegan chocolate sauce and whipped cream.
As well as the four new delights, customers can indulge in vegan sugar cones with Ben & Jerry’s Non-Dairy ice cream flavours, and their popular Union Coffee can be made vegan-friendly by switching to almond milk.
Sadly, the new vegan menu is only available during World Vegan Month, but if it proves popular there are hopes that it’s vegan goodies will stick around for good.
