An exciting new vegan restaurant is opening in Clapham, and right in time for Vegan Month
The Meet is a vegan innovation from top London chef, Dominic Taylor, and is set inside Fu Manchu in the urban, industrial backdrop of a railway arch in hip South London.
The pop-up will make use of Dominic’s creative cooking techniques to transform popular millennial dishes into indulgent vegan alternatives. Dominic, who follows a plant-based diet, takes inspiration from a lively concoction of cultural influences to create nutritious and flavoursome plates. Restaurant-goers can expect vegan comfort food and cocktails at their boisterous best.
The Meet’s menu will serve a selection of exuberant dishes for committed vegans, experimental foodies, flexitarians, as well as those who are just simply health-conscious. Open daily, Tuesday through to Sunday, The Meet will offer up a selection of small sharing plates, burgers, late-night bites, and as specials on weekends – bottomless vegan brunches, and Sunday roasts.
Early birds can catch a cold-press juice, a chai seed and acai bircher muesli pot, or they can ‘Avo go’ at tasting crushed avocado on garlic sourdough toast, which is topped with jalapeno spiked pico de galo. Lunchtime customers can sample tasty meat-free alternatives, such as seitan and jackfruit, alongside zingy herbs and spices. They also offer a variety of cocktails and after-work drinks, including violet martinis and vegronis.
October 25th marks the soft-launch, and customers can enjoy 50 per cent off all food until the official opening on November 2nd.
