A plant based café, restaurant and bar is opening in Norwich over the forthcoming bank holiday weekend.
Erpingham House in Norwich is a new venture by entrepreneur Loui Blake. Blake, who spoke at last month’s Vegan Life Live Manchester, is creating the new business as a way to restore a historical building into a fresh and modern venue that will offer something new to the already vegan-friendly Norfolk city.
“The menu is entirely free from animal products and mostly-gluten free. It offers a healthier, more conscious way to eat and drink out,” Blake told the Norwich Evening News. “Seeing the building and knowing its history, I wanted to restore it in a way that breathed new life into it and offer something new to the city.”
Blake has also mentioned Erpingham House’s Instagram account that the establishment will be ‘entirely free from single-use plastics’, with all containers, cups, and cutlery being provided by plant based packaging brand Vegware.
The café will serve breakfast, hot drinks, juices and lunch, while the restaurant will become a bar in the evenings, with a focus on cocktails. The venue will open for business over the weekend of 26-27 May.
