The OXO Tower restaurant is launching a brand new vegan afternoon tea throughout January 2019, accommodating to customers’ cruelty-free lifestyle choices.
The indulgent plant-based afternoon tea will serve golden beetroot with aged balsamic in rosemary rye bread, homemade vegan ‘cheese’ and pickle sandwiches, and chestnut and mushroom sausage rolls. Lemon tofu with sage an onion stuffing on cranberry bread will also be featured.
The sweet desserts have been developed by Oxo’s head pastry chef, Penny Wabbit – scones with clotted plant-based cream and strawberry jam, mini lemon meringue pies, coconut and pineapple cakes and an apple mousse are all served. Tea and coffee are available, too.
