Star of the reality series The Real Housewives of Atlanta is now following a vegan diet, following the footsteps of co-star Kim Zolciak to “live a better life”.

Porsha said: “I’m vegan now. I’ve changed my eating habits. I’m doing it for health reasons. Just want to live a better life; be the best Porsha that I can be.”

Since her transition, Porsha has been eating plant based foods such as veggie stew and vegan cheese grilled sandwiches. The reality TV star has also been posting pictures of her shopping list on Instagram to let her followers know what plant based goodies she has been buying.

It appears that Kim Zolciak’s influence was a cornerstone in her decision to eliminate animal products from her diet but her decision was also informed by watching the Netflix documentary What the Health. Porsha is not the first celeb name to have converted to a vegan diet after watching Kip Andersen and Keegan Kuhn’s documentary with notable names including NEYO and Adrian Peterson adopting a plant based diet as a result of the film.

“Kim is also vegan,” Williams said. “We’re like holding each other accountable. We do a lot of fun stuff with our new [vegan] world, so you’ve got to stay tuned for that.”

No one goes vegan for health reasons. Vegan isn’t a diet.

Jezus. It’s an easy thing to understand. Get it RIGHT.

Yes. Actually people do. Especially African Americans do who are the largest consumers of meat and meat products. Google and read the article “Here’s Why Black People Don’t Go Vegan” … YOU should definitely read this.

Oh, please choosing to omit certain food groups is nothing new and so over rated. For the Vegans. Let’s leave race out of it for those dumb enough to check the box revealing their race so people of color can be ready to say “yes black people do” This is for people that play the race card.
