Food outlet Pret A Manger has launched a new spring menu with added vegan items, which will be available from tomorrow. The vegan items on the menu include a dark chocolate and almond butter cookie, a mango & banana sunshine bowl, the avo, olives & toms baguette and a vegan chilli flat bread.
Head of Food Development at Pret, Hannah Dolan said: “We’re thrilled to be launching a new range of salads and products this spring. I’m especially excited about the vegan cookie, which combines almond butter with dark chocolate and sea salt to make the perfect afternoon treat.”
Pret is also working in collaboration with Chilly’s bottles to promote sustainability to customers, with three exclusive designs available to customers. In addition to this, Pret is also launching a plastic bottle deposit scheme in three of their Brighton stores. A 10p deposit is added to all of their Pret-branded plastic bottles which is given back when the customer returns the bottle. If it is successful in making customers aware of how many bottles are used, the scheme will be rolled out in more locations.
