Pizza is the quintessential Friday night takeaway, but homemade pizzas can actually be a really fun and easy meal to make with friends! For a super quick and easy 20-minute vegan dinner, grab a ready-made vegan pizza base, a scrummy Italian tomato sauce and some fluffy vegan cheese. Mix it up with as many toppings as you can fit, from roasted artichokes to Fry’s Smoked Hot Dogs, for a ‘pizza’ the fakeaway action!
- 1 vegan-friendly pizza base
- 2 garlic cloves
- 200g passata
- 250g vegan cheese
- 2 Fry’s Hot Dogs
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Preheat your oven to 220°C. Pour the passata into a saucepan to simmer on a low heat for 5 minutes. Once the sauce has thickened, take it off the heat to cool. Meanwhile, fry 2 Hot Dogs in a frying pan over a medium heat for 8 – 10 minutes, flipping regularly.
- Once the passata is cool, spread it across the pizza base and top with vegan cheese and Hot Dogs. Place the pizza in the preheated oven and cook for 10 – 15 minutes until the crust is crisp.
