Vegan Life Magazine Wins Best Vegan Magazine At VegfestUK Awards
Vegan Life Magazine has won the award for Best Vegan Magazine at the 2017 VegfestUK Awards. The award, which was voted for by the public, was presented at the 2017 VegFestUK Awards at The Olympia, London on Saturday 21st October 2017.
Vegan Life has previously won awards for Best Publication and Best Vegan Service at the 2014 and 2015 VegFestUK Awards respectively.
Vegan Life Magazine is in its third year with over 30 issues available and a loyal fan base in print and online; Vegan Life also has a substantial online presence with over 125,000 followers on social media.
Vegan Life’s monthly magazine brings its readers the latest news, in-depth articles detailing animal welfare concerns and successes, environmental issues and vegan-friendly travel destinations, as well as providing plant based inspiration and recipes. Vegan Life Magazine also benefits from their many excellent regular contributors including Jake Yapp, Oliver Coningham, Charlotte Meyer zu Natrup, Maria Slough, Fat Gay Vegan (Sean O’Callaghan) and Victoria Eisermann.
Vegan Life Magazine is published by Prime Impact Events and Media who also organise the ever-popular event Vegan Life Live. Vegan Life Live celebrates all things vegan in London (10th-11th February 2018) and Manchester (20th-22nd April 2018).
Keith Coomber, Director at Prime Impact Events and Media, said: “We are delighted to have won the award for Best Vegan Magazine. Vegan Life was the first vegan publication to hit the newsstands and we have always been passionate about changing the world. We set out to bring veganism into vogue and we are now seeing that happen, although there is still a long way to go to eradicate animal exploitation.
“I’d like to thank our loyal readers, many of whom have been with us since issue one, for their ongoing support. We work incredibly hard at Vegan Life and to win this award, and to hear our magazine has been instrumental in helping people go vegan, helps drive us to keep improving every day.”
Olivia Middlebrook, Editor of Vegan Life Magazine, said: “Vegan Life is a very special publication which encompasses the entire vegan lifestyle, not just the diet. We feel that it is important that our readers feel that they are part of something bigger than just a diet; veganism is a global community and here at Vegan Life we want to help people to find the information they need to navigate through their lives compassionately.
“Vegan Life is not only written by passionate vegans but the Directors at Prime Impact Events and Media are also vegans and only promote vegan-friendly products and services in their other publications.
“We have been overwhelmed with the kind words from our readers and friends in the vegan community. We share this award with all of the people out there who are working tirelessly to change the face of veganism, to reverse the misconceptions and to provide hope for millions of animals around the world who are suffering needlessly.”
