The Very Good Butchers finally comes to the UK

Hailing from Vancouver, British Columbia, vegan meat brand The Very Good Butchers are now available in Great Britain (uk.verygoodbutchers.com). Made with real, minimally processed ingredients like beans, grains, vegetables, and a variety of spices, the 'butcher' box offers more than 13 meals of plant-based goodness. MOOKIND launches London's first cruelty-free dessert boutique

A brand-new dessert shop has opened up on the streets of New Kings Road, Parsons Green, London - MOOKIND (mookind.com, @mookind_). The brainchild of 26-year-old plant-based entrepreneur Marianne Gibson, MOOKIND offers the biggest selection of vegan desserts in London.

Using responsibly sourced, natural, whole-food ingredients, the desserts are all made by their very own team in London. The treat parlour has their own exclusively vegan bakery and gelato kitchen and can also offer birthday cakes made to order for parties, weddings and events.

The inspiration for the shop stems from Marianne's love of animals and her drive to eliminate animal cruelty. She converted to veganism in 2017 and is proud to offer delicious and cruelty-free alternatives to like-minded people. Marianne's dream is for more people to come in and try the desserts for themselves, which include a large range of delectable cakes, gelato, takeaway hot and cold beverages and range of snacks.

In a statement sent to Vegan Life, Marianne said: \"Our motto is 'Kind to every kind'. I am passionate about enabling people to make small changes to their daily routines, which all aids the fight against animal cruelty. The products taste as good as (if not, better than) their dairy-based alternatives!\"

All MOOKIND cakes are created using non-refined sugars with a range of gluten free options. Other allergies are catered for and if you have any specific dietary requirements, Marianne is willing to look into developing suitable alternatives.
